Black Friday with Alibaba

    This article describes how Alibaba’s dominance in the e-commerce market. Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. is the world’s largest e-commerce website and this was validated after their November 11th shopping festival this year. This shopping festival is held annually on November 11th and it is the company’s version of the American tradition “Black Friday.” Surprisingly, though, this year’s shopping festival grossed close to $6 Billion, which is significantly more than the sales generated from “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” combined. These figures are extremely positive taking into fact that the company is considering going public and this is expected to be one of the largest, if not the largest, IPO in the technology sector.

Alibaba is a great company and other companies will be smart to continue on their track. this should also be an interest to the consumers that on Black Friday get trampled over for a TV or a pair of earrings. This American tradition of Black Friday has just become too dangerous and should be organized much better.
