Burberry & Apple Store

Apple has chosen to hire Angela Ahrendts, the former chief executive of Burberry, as the new chief retail at Apple. Her role will be to increase brand awareness and alter the stores that have lost its initial novelty. Apple has opened up many stores and its competitors, like Samsung, are doing the same. The sales per square foot in Apple Store’s fell 4.5%. She will also oversee Apple’s online stores. Angela leveraged on e-commerce at Burberry by streaming fashion shows on the company website among many other things. Angela looks up to Apple’s company model for its brilliant design and working to create a lifestyle. Apple hopes to benefit from her presence at Apple by increasing the sales both in-store and online.

  1. I think Apple try to rise it prestige after the cheap iPhone. Also, to linked it brand with other high price brand. Its along way for Apple to walk in it. Good luck Apple.
