Hulu Lines Up New Video Content

Hulu has made a deal with BBC North America that it will bring 144 new titles to its existing line of titles. In addition, Hulu is adding a show called “Deadbeat” and the CBS series “The Good Wife”. Hulu is owned by Walt Disney, 21st Century Fox Inc., and Comcast Corp. In the times of Hulu’s financial troubles, the owners decided to invest $750M into Hulu instead of selling it off. Hulu’s rivals such as Netflix and Amazon were offering better deals to customers. This has posed challenges for Hulu in the past and will continue too. The deal with BBC is not exclusive as there are separate deals with Netflix and Amazon.
